What we process, why, and for how long

We get your first name and email address from PayPal when you subscribe, and your Even account ID from the Even app. You do not have to give us personal data, but the features that need it will not work without it. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Where we rely on legitimate interests, they are running, securing and improving Navigaze and telling customers about it.
Who receives it
- Hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Map, search, routing, traffic, speed-limit, weather, charging, transit and shared-vehicle data providers. Many requests go straight from your phone to these providers, which then see your IP address and the request.
- Speech-recognition providers.
- PayPal, which handles payments as an independent controller under its own privacy notice, and our email delivery provider.
- Other Navigaze users: reports you submit; your position, if you choose to be shown; and your group, during a group ride.
- Services you choose to connect or whose API key you add, under their own terms.
- Authorities where the law requires it, and a successor if Navigaze is sold.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
International transfers
We are in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires a safeguard for a transfer from the UK or EU, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as offered in our providers' data processing terms. Ask us for details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict it, or to object to how we use it, including at any time to its use for direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. Uninstalling the app does not delete data on our servers. Email [email protected]; we may need your licence key or install identifier to find your data. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Navigaze is only for people 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Navigaze does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Changes
We post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
